Fantastic Story, Characters & Narration🎧
Claudia Burgoa pens another fabulous novel set in her “Luna Harbor” series, a story that not only captivated my attention the entire book, but tugged on my heartstrings and put a smile on my face as well. Luna Harbor is becoming another of my favorite places to visit, the characters are amazing, they are a great group of people, each as interesting as the other and are the type of people you would love to be friends with and definitely want to have your back when needed. Fisher Hannigan is the head keyboardist of “Too Far From Grace”, but the band is on hiatus while one of their members recuperates from a serious injury, and is staying in Luna Harbor. Well, it is more than staying, they are also helping to revitalize the small town, buying up properties with plans to renovate and modernize them. Nathalie Brennan had enough with it all, her parents, her cheating not ex boyfriend, the roommate he cheated with and working in the ER. A call from her late Grandpa’s partner about the medical practice in Luna Harbor, gives her an idea, to do something for herself and not try to please her demanding family. She inherited her Grandpa’s half of that practice and her fondest childhood memories were from spending time with him, probably the happiest moments in her life. So goodbye NY and hello Luna Harbor, she has little money so she will stay in the apartment above the clinic. When she gets there, she is told that it is not really an apartment, but she is adamant about staying there and soon finds out why it is not an inhabitable space, the loud music at the Cafe/Bar. Fisher, the joker of the crew, told her so and when she comes to complain, he gets a kick out of breaking her chops. I loved the back and forth between these two, the witty dialogue is hilarious. Fisher does not do relationships, but he sure wants to do the new doctor in town, And when a bundle of joy is dropped into his lap, it is overwhelming for him and the first person he thinks to go to for help was Nathalie, sure no one else was around but she was his perfect choice. It was great to watch these two get to know each other and learn more about them, both have their own inner demons and insecurities and deal with them in their own ways, it took them awhile to open up about them but when they did it just clicked for them. This wonderfully written and plotted story has a perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing novel and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Emma Wilder and Jacob Morgan did an amazing job bringing these characters and their story to life. Their portrayal of each character was spot on and they were believable in every role they played. Morgan grasped all sides of Fisher’s personality, from his jokester side to his more serious side that he rarely shows. Wilder did the same for Nathalie, grasped her all her strength too. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue and humor naturally and with ease. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Love visiting Luna Harbor!
Catching her boyfriend and roommate in a compromising position, Natalie jumps at the chance to take over her medical practice in Luna Harbor. Finding herself being given a concert everyday from the coffee shop next to the office, she complains only to find Fish, the keyboardist for TFFG the culprit. Ultimate flirt, she can't stop thinking about him. But then his life is turned upside down and he needs help. Will she be able to give him the time and run the practice? Will Fish find himself falling for the new doctor in town? And there is not only one bomb dropped in this story! Natalie has a surprise she never sees coming. Claudia Burgoa pens another amazing couple for this band. I was totally invested in this story as Fish matures, takes his new situation on with Natalie and makes his life better. Natalie is evolving and her growing love is wonderful! Love this story, it's dealing with real situations, feelings and emotions, all of which are felt leaving my heart full.
Jacob Morgan and Emma Wilder are our storytellers. Nothing can be said about these amazing narrators that has not already been said. Morgan brings all the emotions and charm to Fish. Wilder lets us feel the frustration, pain, and love that Natalie has. Amazing narration by this team.
