Summary
He was a rockstar. A legend. And a single father.
I should’ve stayed away. I just couldn’t resist him.
We were happy until he texted. We need to talk. The last famous words.
But I knew I needed to let him go. It was over. We were never meant to be together.
Just like everyone else, he left. I couldn’t handle touring with his rock band and a relationship.
Until I discovered Sadie. The love of my life. When I left her, I made the biggest mistake of my life. But when tragedy struck, my world came apart.
You’ll love this emotional, breathtakingly beautiful rock-star romance. Get it today.

Fantastic rockstar romance!
Some authors know how to let me escape into the world they create and Claudia Burgoa is one of them1 Every book captures my heart and keeps me enraptured for hours. This rockstar romance did just that. From start to finish, I was stuck in Kaden and Sadie’s world. These two met and immediately, Kaden knew there was something about this woman. But Sadie is independent, not looking for a relationship and holds him off, just being friends. But as their friendship deepens, so do their feelings. Until the unthinkable happens. Kaden makes a choice that determines their future. But is it the right one? I don’t know what took me in the most. The single dad aspect of this story, the relevant issues that are dealt with or the romance between Kaden and Sadie. Suffice it to say, it’s all of the above. There is even a love to hate character that had me yelling at my phone every time she came into a scene. The past and present feature also seamlessly gives the history of their relationship and fills in all the blanks This book has it all, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite of Burgoa’s yet (though I love the Bakers too)! This is one that will stick with me for a while!
Stephen Dexter is definitely a reason to love this book. His portrayal of Kaden is spot on. Emotionally wrought, he finds the inner dialogue of Kade and makes him a true dad and a true love. Stephanie Nemeth-Parker also give a stellar performance as Sadie. Stubborn, compassionate, loving, she brings out all the feels as Sadie. These two are perfectly cast as if the story was written with their voices in mind and made for a fantastic listen.

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧 Wonderfully Heartfelt
I loved everything about this book, from Claudia Burgoa’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. Rockstar romance is one of my favorite tropes in the romance genre so I knew I was going to love this book but I had not known how much and I can say I was blown away by this story, it not only captivated my attention but it also tugged on my heartstrings the entire book. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about and even fall for. I adored the two lead characters, Kaden Hades and Sadie Bell, a rockstar and a florist. The story is original and told in a unique way, it starts off in the present when the two are not together anymore, it then alternates to the past starting with how they met and how their relationship developed and how they fell in love and some obstacles they faced and the trouble his manipulative ex wife caused. There are a lot of layers to this beautifully written and plotted story, it flows naturally and contains the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a romance people dream of. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker are fabulously talented narrators and versatile voice artists. These entertaining storytellers had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Stephen Dexter rocked Kaden’s role with swoon worthy perfection and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker nailed it as Sadie grasped her charming wit and her caring and understanding demeanor. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and have you feeling every single one. Thank you for another wonderful listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your audiobooks and performance.

Kaden and Sadie!
Kaden is a successful musician who is trying to balance his vindictive ex against the needs of his teenage daughters. When he meets Sadie, he feels an immediate chemistry and connection between them and is steadfast in his pursuit of her heart. They have been together for three years and although the transition hasn’t been without its challenges one traumatic night will destroy what they shared until Sadie’s accident forces him to face what he has done.
Sadie has never had the family she deserved but she loves Kaden’s daughters as her own and believe their engagement would bring them closer. She was devastated when Kaden ended their relationship so even though he was there after her accident she isn’t about to just let him or his daughters back into her life.
Love was never the problem between Kaden and Sadie but now that she is back in his life he isn’t about to walk away. They take us on an emotional ride as Kaden wants both her and his daughters in his life but that means not only learning about the secrets in the past but healing from them as well. I really enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out all the angst of not only Kaden and Sadie but the secondary characters as well.
