Loved it!!
Admittedly my expectations weren’t that high, having just gone through 2 appalling zombie books by different authors, but I quickly realised this was going to be a good listen. Great characters, and a good story, combined with an excellent narrator! I’m off to see what else the narrator and author have each done.
Highly recommend you listen to this box set. I know it’s one I’ll come back to for another listen at some point

exactly what you expect and want from a zombie story
its a zombie story and you should already know what you are getting. People getting trapped and eaten by zombies and finding ways to escape. it has the regular tropes you should expect and a few surprises. If this is the kind of thing you are looking for then this is a good example of it.

the characters are amazing you just fell in love with them
I'm not one for reading but this book series is amazing would definitely recommend to anyone a fan of zombie apocalypse

Cadaver
I’m a real zombie freak but rarely find anything ‘original’ in the genre but with Cadaver I have. It’s got the usual tropes in it but the author tells them from a completely different angle and I like that we get the story about the apocalypse from the early days - the beginning. It’s fast paced and each chapter is just long enough. I love the ‘Mountain Man’ series by Blackmore but this is a close second. Worth my credit for the whole series.

First time listening to a Zombie apocalypse series
I had no real expectations for this series and wanted to try something new.
You get all the books in the series for 1 credit.
The narration by Spencer Dillehy is good, and he makes the books very enjoyable to listen to.
However, the story jumps to different characters that you start to get invested in and then killed off.
After 13 hours, I stopped listening to these books.
I don’t know if it's the story or if I do not like this type of series.

Wanted more
Great story, but it felt slightly rushed at the end. Overall a great story. The characters felt real, the geography felt slightly off as a norwegian.
