Summary

Introducing the special 10th anniversary omnibus edition of the entire America Falls series to date, Books 1-11!

In the middle of the holidays, a biological attack wreaks havoc on the U.S.

The virus is quick. Deadly. Unstoppable. The country is left in tatters.

For Isaac Race, it’s especially bitter. After the death of his parents and sister, he was just getting his life back on track - the weaponized virus changes all that.

Battered by the fresh deaths of his foster parents, but hardened by the year he’s endured, he emerges from the temporary safety of his home to seek out other survivors during the worst winter in years.

From the icy mountains of New Hampshire to the ravaged cities depopulated by the virus, follow Isaac and a cast of compelling characters as they embark on an epic journey, taking on not only the invaders, but other perils unleashed in the shattered landscape of post-America. Each book in the series builds on the last, revealing new dangers, unexpected allies and ruthless enemies in their fight for survival.

If you’re a fan of post-apocalyptic epics, be sure not to miss the America Falls Omnibus.

Great story -

As someone else has already said, this is really a young adult / teenage fiction. However, the story is really well worked and doesn't fall into too many post apocalypse traps (...you know, the ex military type who wants to leave behind his past, but can't as he now has to use his 'skills' to survive...) As an adult, I like it and it's up there with many other EOTW fiction.

The story fairly skips along with not too much dwelling on day to day survival. A nice few twists and some unexpected losses along the way.

I bought this as it seemed worth the 1 credit for 11 books - thought i'd listen to one between monthly credits, I am now on book 5 and haven't started another book yet.

Completely engrossing listen

I really enjoyed this story, it was read excellently by Adam Barr and the way it has been written just takes on the journey and through the emotions of the characters. I found my self going through all the emotions and eager to find out more.

cool concept, adequate narration, interesting story. Lost me on the details

Like the title suggests; I love the concept. America dies out, the survivors need to band together and run into adventures while trying to survive. Also 11 books for 1 credit, Great! Even the narrator does a good job (though sometimes he uses the wrong voice and changes midsentince).

However I wouldn't suggest this to past me mainly because I am not the target audience.

In my opinion this book is clearly focused.on the 'teens' and 'young adult' demography. The story revolves around a bunch of 15 year olds we need to grow up fast. Small Spoiler warming: The main protagonist becomes the leader of the band and this is repeated over and over again, he's the leader and has his struggles, I get it! I can imagine for a teen or Young adult who identifies with the character it could be great to be a nobody and then become the leader and the hero. fFor me it was over the top and got old real fast

is someone who you should
