About this listen

When Jake Boulder is asked to help investigate the murder of Kira Niemeyer, he soon finds himself tracking a serial killer who selects his next victim in a most unusual manner.

As the body count rises, Boulder has to work with the police to identify the killer before more lives are taken. What ensues is a twisted game of cat and mouse. Only Boulder or the Watcher can survive.

First graham Smith definitely not the last

I really enjoyed this story & the characters
the hero was full of himself along the same path as Sherlock & Hammer...all good there then
So much death & destruction ticked my boxes
Written well
Narrated well
Great ending
I won't tell you

Super Plot

In my humble opinion the book is a really good read. The place is great and the plot is really super. I do hope that the characters live on and on. Thank you!

Fun for mystery/detective lovers

Nice congruent story line with enough twists to keep the momentum nicely. If you want hard core gore OR armchair detective, this likely wont be for you. BUT I am looking forward to next instalment and am only said that there are no more audible recoded books of the series after.

Interesting storyline

This is a great audiobook, excellent narration by David McCallion.

The storyline is great, innovative if a little bizarre which I love but Jake Boulder is one of those characters that I can't quite empathise with, it could be his goody goody attitude to everything that annoys me but he still manages to play the hero which is always a winner, a bit of a Scottish Die Hard I think ...

I would certainly recommend this title, although I think it's more suited to a male audience.

The book is good but…

The book is good but what about the end? It felt like half way through a sentence it’s just said ‘the end’ !!!

Great listen

Thrilling story line and really liked the characters. The narrators voice is easy to listen to and helps to make it such a good listen.

feels unfinished

I absolutely loved this APART from then end. it just abruptly stopped, No closure no winding down. After a fantastic story I was left feeling disappointed & wanting more

Dragged out no decent ending

Narration spot on , some good characters , just felt so much stuff was unnecessary was going to give up halfway through and thought would keep going , plot decent , ending awful
