gripping
I havnt heard any books by this author however really enjoyed this. it had me shocked and gripped. Really good twists and turns and I loved the narrators voices.

Very twisty
Cleverly written and brilliantly narrated. I really enjoyed this audiobook. The characters have great depth which added to my enjoyment. The author takes you on a journey through the past in order to solve a murder in the present.

Engaging read full of twists and turns
I couldn’t stop listening to this, brilliantly narrated and full of twists that kept me guessing. The characters are portrayed with depth and nuance and the plot was compelling. Will definitely be listening to more in the series and was great as a free listen from the Plus Catalogue.

The mystery and anxiety driving rushed decisions
The end was disappointing as many parts did not follow the actions as believable. Felt this part was rushed.

Confusing
This story started well but there were too many different stories going on, the jumping backwards and forwards could be a bit confusing. I like to listen to a book while doing something, however, this book needed total concentration to keep up. The narrator got very over excited and shouted a lot which I feel was not always needed.

So many twists!
Really enjoyed this book. So many twists at the end! Definitely worth a listen. A little brutal in places but who wants a tame killer story?
