Summary

Training is over. The hunt is on.

With Fyrion a distant speck behind us and the resources of the Dragon’s Right Eye out of reach, there’s only one place in the system we can go to gather the materials we need to advance to bronze.

Ilirian beckons.

But dangers lurk in those dark jungles, and the ruins of a civilization long dead house threats the likes of which no amount of training or meditation could’ve prepared us for. It’s advance or fall behind, and with the infinite sea at my back, there’s only one real option.

At least the monsters only want to kill me.

I really enjoyed this

The worldbuilding, writing and the naration are all excellent! This is the first series I have come across that has blended sci fi and cultivation this well.

Don't bother with this book.

I really had been very excited for the second book, in this series. but it really disappointed. the book felt very drawn out. there was not much to be excited about. The characters is in mostly the same position, at the end of the book. as in the beginning of the book. except for in the beginning of the book, they're getting out of their sect. and at the end of this they're going back to the sect. progression in the story? no just walking in circles.
