Twists and turns right up to the end
I enjoyed every minute of this book, getting to know tje charcters, the story line and the psychology of how lives are affected.

Easy listen police drama
Easy listen police drama set in North Yorkshire. Predictable in places but moved at a good pace and I enjoyed listening to this while crafting. Good narration too, with nice variation between characters to make it easy to follow. Overall a good listen.

A Promising Series
I was familiar with this writer from another series. This offshoot has all the makings of a other excellent police procedural. The two main characters, along with their troubled personal lives are shaping up very nicely. Recommended

Ok but not very gripping
The narrators female voice was annoying and sometimes the characters merged which made it hard to follow at times

Gripping story
It's been some time since I discovered Wes Markin and thereby Aubrey Parsons. Back then I enjoyed the work of both, and went down the rabbit hole of following the narrator.
Over 300 Audible books later and looking for something familiar until the new releases I am awaiting are released, I stumbled on Wes again! Oh happy days! They are such a great team! Characters are engaging, story is fast moving and I enjoyed it so much I listened in just two sittings!
The next two books are in my library! Sorry, gotta go now 😃

Great Start to a series
I enjoyed the plot, the revenge aspect of it in particular. The two Detectives were interesting characters, the backstory of Gardner in particular will hopefully give an interesting sub-plot for further books. Narrator did a good job portraying the different characters and the drama/emotions. Looking forward to reading more of the series.
