Jackie Collins I will miss you

Started listening to this book before Jackie passed it was strange hearing her voice knowing she had passed but was a comfort she's such an inspirational woman. I have read everyone of jackies books there all exciting glamorous and full of drama I shall miss waiting for her next book but my thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

What an awesome book and LUCKY is back

If you could sum up The Santangelos in three words, what would they be?

Sexy,Strong and Fantastic

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucky.Having read only one of the lucky santangelo books before(lady boss) i was intrigued to see her "modern day" and i couldn't of wished for a better book totally kick ass and and interesting read

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

i like the different tone in the voice of the narrators i like to hear the reactions and to get a sense that i am actually in the book much more than i would of reading it although i do read often too.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

it was a book i was dying to know what was going to happen next rather long for one sitting but great book that i could put down

Any additional comments?

please add more of jackie's books to audible

An absolutely thrilling read!

If you could sum up The Santangelos in three words, what would they be?

Racey, Thrilling, Glamorous

What did you like best about this story?

ah... that would be telling. but it was the moment two beautiful people who had dreamed of being together for years finally got together.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

they were all amazing! I loved the Latin American accents for the voices of Allexandro and Rafaielle. The voice of Willow was just right for her character. I also love the fact that Jackie reads her books and she does the character of Lucky great justice.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh No I didn't cry or laugh because no one who tampers (for want of a better word) with the Santangelos ends up laughing. I was angry at some of the bad cruel characters but they all got done for in the end so that's what mattered:-)

Any additional comments?

The Santangelos rank amongst one of the best books I've listened to. Very racey and has all the ingredients for total escapism. Jacki, That was an awesome book. It would be really nice if you could get with Sidney Sheldon and write something because I think a book written by both of you together would be so amazing! That's not to say your books aren't one of the best. they totally rock!
Fellow readers, if you fancy anything entertaining with the right amount of thrills for a holiday, take this book along.

Dire

The story was poor and the nauseating American narrator made me cringe. Not worth it.
