About this listen
Includes a brief preview of Bound by Cynthia Dane & Hildred Billings.
Attraction has nothing to do with it. Until it does.
Nicole Delaney
Down-on-her-luck heiress Nicole Delaney can't take another hit. First, her dad dies, leaving in his wake a million debts that wipe out the family coffers. As if that wasn't bad enough, she now lives in a cramped downtown apartment with her mother. No privacy, and no money!
Only thing worse? Her professors in her fashion school telling her to pick a new job!
Nicole is simultaneously too old to rely on her sickly mother and also too young to have a real chance to free herself from this unfortunate situation. So what does her mother do?
She calls the matchmaker. Surely, there's some rich guy out there looking for a hot, young wife....
Jenny Bishop
The once-homeless Jenny Bishop now has it all: a bustling business as a fashion designer, enough money to keep her housed and fed for life, and access to everything she couldn't have as a foster kid.
Except there's one thing missing: a family.
Whether broke or investing millions back into her business, Jenny continues to search for that elusive family she's always dreamed of having. When time gets in the way of traditional dating, she hits up a matchmaker with the hopes there's one woman out there willing to wed a lesbian like her.
Two rings to rule their hearts
Nicole only agrees to marry Jenny to get her money, but what quickly unfolds is a genuine attraction that blindsides the formerly frigid Nicole and blinds Jenny to the logical solutions she desires. How can they think about a logical marriage of convenience when they're too busy jetting off to Hawaii for inspiration and... "inspiration"?
Too bad, because one of the nastiest women to ever play with a billion dollars is on a mission to destroy their blossoming love. So much for that June wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii!

An arranged marriage with an mutual attractio
I was looking forward to this book, and the first thing I will say it started off well and I was enjoying it, then it was sex scenes all the time, so their really wasn’t a book, it was basically a sex book, which is not my thing.
I like books that have a slow burn romance that’s turns to love, and of course I understand there is going to be sex scenes which I think is sweet, but not like this.
Nicole really was too spoilt and I will say the narrator definitely made that clear with the voice given to her character which was grating.
I understand where they both come from Jenny never had a family with being in care and on the street but now she is a famous designer, and Nicole the once rich heiress and now poor because her dad died and had a lot of debt. And the arranged marriage that would solve all their problems.
But I think the authors let this story down as it could have been a fantastic read.
I don’t believe they were in love I think Nicole thought she was straight then had sex with Jenny and decided she was gay, which is true that can happen. But she was way to randy wanting to try everything and I mean everything, I am glad that they didn’t do some of the things they spoke about doing in the bedroom as I was going to skip them.
I was going to stop listening to it but I did read that it had a really good ending so I managed to carry on. But the ending was just ok nothing special, no proper wedding. What happed to Edith, I don’t think she would have given up without a fight.
I won’t be listening to these authors again.
I don’t know if I will listen to the narrator again, maybe if she read a better book, and this is to the narrator don’t make such a whiny voice it’s grating.
