Brilliant
It was an excellent book, filled with funny references and sarcastic moments. The character of Richter is amusing and reflects a typical young male, and his companion, is equally as endearing

Love it
Is the start of one of the best series iv had the pleasure of listening too, trust me it's worth getting into, if your a fan of any RPG based games be it consol or role play, this is for you.

Phenomenal surprise
I bought this audiobook as it appeared on recommended and I wanted to take a break between the other series I am listening to.
What a brilliant accidental purchase! I’m hooked, I love it. Possibly the best performance I have heard. A great story, likeable characters, brilliant humour.

Feels like a game, a REALLY good game!
A great story for people who like tangible character progression. The readouts of the in-game prompts can get a bit long though. I'd have liked to see a different adaptation of that aspect for audiobook. I really liked the sound effects for the notifications however.

This was my last gamble on LitRPG but I loved it
I should have hated this book but I devoured the whole series and loved every minute of it and was gutted when I ran out of new books to listen to. I love Nick Podehl as a narrator and I'm not sure this format would have worked without a very skilled Narrator but Nick's one of the best and he makes this work perfectly. I'd tried other LitRPG books before this and they were pretty uninspiring and often descended into a superhero and his harem of little loli girls which makes my skin crawl but there's none of that basement-dweller creepiness in this just a really entertaining story that's brilliantly delivered.
