Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet.

None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous. He mostly kept to himself. He was the weird guy who owned a cabin and who occasionally came into town for a drink and light conversation. After System Integration, that didn’t change much—he only got stronger.
After years of fighting monsters and Invaders alone, he’s become quite adept at surviving. Who needs others to get in the way or worry about?
Until one day, Derek goes against his better judgement. He decides to lend some help on a mission that doesn’t seem too hard.... He should have stuck to being alone....

Irl gamer tries to socialize
Powerfantasy, not a bad one mind you. It does however share the problem as defiance of the fall did in that the MC is focused on powering up to the point it feels wierd. Meeting someone? Better focus on the system windows instead.
The character himself is fine, if a bit edgy and antisocial but not to the point where he doesn’t have fun. The rest of the cast is a bit forgettable and the reason you get into this should be a bit of escapism to gamer brain OP universe, which it does pretty well. 4,5/5.

Great story, and not what I expected.
its not what i was expecting, which is good in this case. i generally don't like the stories where the systems come to earth rather than someone going to a world with a system as i enjoy the worldbuilding that comes with a new fantasy world to explore, so when i read the summery i was hesitant to try it. but it turns out that their is a new world, and planet earth gets like half a chapter worth of screen time so yeah. it actually reads a lot more like one of those stories where a powerful person from another world gets isekai'd to another fantasy world, or another time. as this protagonist is basically Kirito (if he was actually interesting) and gets isekai'd after he power leveled himself. very fun. lots of antics with fairly low stakes most of the time. reads a lot like a political slice of life more than a real fight to survive style adventure.
the main flaw i see is that since this story takes its time to get it right, the book length feels way to short, i would be happier if each was 30hours+. cant wait for the next one.

Great story
highly enjoyable story and I'm about to listen to book two should be a great series to listen to from now on seeing his book full will be out in two weeks

excellent
a most enjoyable experience, something different in the litrpg scene a what if the system was not the only system in the universe i can not wait till the next book is out and hopefully many more as i loved reading this then buying the audio to listen to it again.

Great starter
Amazing start to what I hope Is a long series, the main character op yet holds back only to go all out when needed, you start to enjoy all the characters as they are introduced and it gets you interested in there skills and stats.
Hope the series keeps going and I am looking forward to more

Surprisingly good
I was skeptical when i first bought it but it was surprisingly good.
It actually kept me wanting more.
Im looking forward to his journey and hope that it keeps me entertained, i have jumped out from so many other series cuz they got boring after the 1st or 2nd book.

Enjoyable
Not quite what I expected but it was good. I actually liked the main and supporting characters. The start of the story is a bit of a mess but it quickly evens out. Looking forward to the next book.
