Excellent Performance

This is a well written plot which kept me guessing with strong characters and I am becoming a fan of Matilda Darke but the experience is greatly enhanced by the voice actor. Great narration in particular towards the final chapters as the tension builds.

There is quite a bit of police jolly female banter in this tale which I think I would struggle to read from the text and might have given up but the voice actor makes it all work and I have enjoyed listening.

I feel that this female DI would make a good television series.

Loved this one right up until the end.

Finished this one very quickly. Didn’t wanna stop listening! And now a cliffhanger! “Errr mah god!” as Matilda would say. Onto the next!

Very enjoyable story and well read

Very enjoyable story with good twists and turns. The culprit was a little more predictable than her other books, but still very good story. Very well read.
