About this listen

One boy and his toy are about to change everything....

Jack loves his childhood toy Dur Pig. DP has always been there for him, through good and bad. Until one Christmas Eve something terrible happens - DP is lost. But Christmas Eve is a night for miracles and lost causes, a night when all things can come to life...even toys. And Jack’s newest toy - the Christmas Pig (DP’s annoying replacement) - has a daring plan: Together they’ll embark on a magical journey to seek something lost and to save the best friend Jack has ever known....

Amazing amazing amazing amazing 🤩😎🤩😎😍

I would really recommend this book anyone who likes a beautiful, cute and funny story about hope and love ❤️ tho I think maybe they should do a sequel were the loser turns good. would not really recommend this audiobook to under 7 year olds cos the losers voice is so scary. Very well performed as well

J K Rowling. Genius.

This story is brilliant on so many levels. At its heart a great tale of triumph over adversity. The value of friendship and loyalty and of course, the power of love. But interwoven subtly are lovely messages which reach but don’t preach. A triumph yet again. Well performed although perhaps Stephen Fry reading it would have made it even more perfect.

JK at her best

Loved this book as did my son. Gripping story, which doesn't shy away from exploring a number of modern day issues. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Such a sad story

I only listened to it as my daughter (9) got so upset by it she refused to listen anymore. So I thought I’d give it a go.
She was right pretty you from start to end this book is sad. Not sure what age range the book is aimed at but childrens story’s shouldn’t be so sad. I didn’t enjoy it at all.

The reading of this book was great though. They really brought the words to life.
