Summary
Experienced yoga instructors Sage Rountree and Alexandra DeSiato give yoga teachers the tools to find their voice and tap in to innate wisdom. The authors offer ready-made, detailed themes to use in classes and provide flexible templates for building a toolkit of themes for future use.
Teaching Yoga Beyond the Poses offers guidance for both new and experienced teachers starting with a section on voice, authenticity, emulation, phrasing, practice, repetition, and finding inspiration. It continues with a second section that contains 54 complete themes that instructors can easily use in their own classes. With a unique angle and practical feel, this book will appeal to yoga teachers, teacher trainers, and at-home practitioners who want to move to the next level.

Helpful book needs hardcopy
I found this book very helpful and enjoyable. However, I am surprised that it's available as audio book as I don't find this format suitable for this particular type of book. I ordered it as hardcopy as I feel it's a book that invites and requires regular picking back up.

Highly recommended
As a newly qualified teacher I found this book immensely helpful and inspirational. Really practical, balanced advice, well read and explained by one of the authors. Enough help and guidance given to set you well on the way but boundless opportunities to expand, grow and make the ideas your own. Loved it!

Good practical inspiration
Even though I'm not yoga teacher myself, I am on a new journey and I'm building my own sessions. I found this thought provoking and was able to give myself some structure and variance for home practice.

Good for yoga mantras
If you are practicing or teaching yoga there are some insightful mantras to take into your practice or teachings. Not really a story as it is about yoga practing and theory. Good for yoga and life in general.
