Full of practical suggestions and preparation list


This is a good book to have available if you're like me and don't understand this topic. Gives everything from basic food storage to long term emergency food storage. It's well written and has plenty of information. It's priced cheaply and is worth having.

This book will help you to eat healthy even if there’s a shortage of foods. It helps you understand what nutrients are important for your body and which foods you should stockpile on. We all experienced a shortage of foods during the coronavirus pandemic, and this book is a useful guide that can help you in such a situation.

My Cupboards Are Stacked!

In my time, I have wasted food by throwing what I couldn't eat in the bin. Wasting food really annoys me because of all the people in the world who don't know when their next meal will come. After listening to this book, I have discovered many tips and techniques in order to preserve my food for longer and how to store food when disaster strikes! I am now happy to know that my food is no longer being wasted for being out of date and I am set for emergencies. Great book with great narration!

very informative and timely!!

I am so happy I found this book!! The author has gone into great details to provide an excellent list of foods we can buy and store in case there is a disaster or food shortage.
this book is perfect as we are in almost complete lockdown at the moment, I do my weekly shop but haven't been buying the right foods that I could store for long period of time such as tinned and dried foods.

I am definitely going to make a list using this book for next time I go shopping.!!

Great for preparing for the unexpected

I never thought about stocking up food until recently after going through lock down and snow storm. I think this book contains great advice. I really like the chapter on how to can food and store them for long period of time. I’m not a big fan of canned food but this book provides good alternatives and nutritional facts about food that can be stored for unexpected events.

I absolutely needed this!

Especially after COVID, my eyes have opened to the fact that my family and I are absolutely unprepared for a disaster, and many people underestimate that fact. I have since taken steps to make sure I am in fact more prepared for when (or if) another disaster comes our way in our lifetime. The most critical steps to take is the survival food you need stored. This needs to be done proactively and this audiobook gives you everything you need to sleep comfortably at night knowing you have everything you need, if the case arises.

I'm so satisfied with this purchase. The content is quality, and the narration is on point. Absolutely recommend! Easily a 5 star book.

A practical guide to prepping

This book is a simple, to-the-point look at prepping and stockpiling food. The advice with starting slow and adding to your stores is vital, because it's easy to go overboard and end up with a bunch of MREs sitting in your basement. There is also good advice on storage practices, labelling and ensuring you can be comfortable in your new sheltered environment,

Excellent Resource and Informative Guide!!

This is so much more than just a guide covering the 70 important foods you must have for a disaster. Each item goes into nutrition and our basic nutritional needs, it also goes over food prep and storage, canning techniques, how to prep for disasters, and much more facts. After this book I can guarantee you will know what 99% of people and or more prepared than the population is some distater strikes. Its better to be prepared than not prepared at all. Such an amazing book

Informative and Relevant!

The book "Survival Foods 70 Nutrient-Packed, Easily Stored Foods to Stockpile in Preparation for Any Disaster" gives insight into how to stock on food in emergency or during shortage, It gives helpful tips to use to preserve food, essential items to stock on that can last for a long period of time. It gives lots of information that we all need and yet many of us don't have knowledge of what to do when the food supply is short. It helps prepare for the long term and be free of crisis situation and the things that most people forget to buy that could make life easier during shortages.
