The personal nature of the similarity is eerie and, frankly, terrifying; Prusik still carries trauma from her time in the field.
As the dark details continue to surface, Prusik has to wonder if the connection is real or if her nightmares have finally wormed their way into her waking life.

The narration was awful
The narrator very nearly made this a did not finish book for me. Absolutely awful!
The story was really good and I'm glad I continued. Only gripe, the story characters were hard to follow so would have been good to start the chapter with who's perspective you were viewing but all in all if you can get past the narrator it's a great storyline.

Great find
downloaded this after seeing it going viral on tiktok.
really enjoyed this book, it was a bit confusing at times to keep track of who was who, but nothing a little rewind to listen back didn't fix.
recommend.

Brilliant
I am not a big fan of thrillers but really enjoyed this book. The storyline was gripping, I couldn’t put my headphones down!
Really looking forward to reading the second book by this author.

Saw the story about the struggles to get this published, WHY!

Plot twists
Saw this author on you tube and looked up the reviews all were good so i thought I’d give it a go. I wasn’t disappointed plots twists from start to finish very exciting and kept me wanting more, so just about to start next one in series. I think Stone Maidens would make a great movie too so I hope it is picked up

A great Crime Thriller!
This is a great crime story that I really enjoyed! I loved the psychological insight and the unusual nature of the murders. The developing relationship of the main character, Christine, with the Sheriff adds a little light relief from the investigation and ongoing murders.
A very well balanced and well thought out story, with a good pace, that keeps you gripped.
The narration was good, professional, well-paced. However the narrator did not use pitch, tone, and inflection to reflect the different characters, so at times, it was difficult to identify which character was speaking at the time.
Overall, a solid 4 stars. I will definitely read more in the series.

Best crime thriller I've read !
I randomly came across the authors daughters video about her dad's book. My usual books of interest are love stories, but decided to give this a chance. LOVED it. I listened to it on audible. I couldn't turn it off, I had it playing all day while I could. I instantly downloaded the second book straight away.
This book is fab ! Great storing, thrilling, catching, had my mind working overtime with the story lol. The details of the story are brilliant. I'm ordering the Physical book as a Christmas present for my husband.
I've already finished book 2, and about to get stuck into book 3. I can't wait.
highly recommend this book ! fabulous Author.
