As someone who struggled with severe depression for many years, I found this book really relatable! Relatable and Vulnerable

This book is real and raw. Depression is often explained as a collection of symptoms that don't really contain much substance. This book dives deep into the EXPERIENCE of depression and what it's really like to feel depressed, which is much more helpful in answering the question, "Am I depressed?" I found a lot of the author's experience to be really relatable and it made me feel less crazy...especially when he described the feeling of being numb and the reckless behavior. Highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking to learn how to heal depression from someone who has been there.
