About this listen
Isn’t it obvious we’re just best friends?
Adrian is my best friend. We live together, hang out, and he’s the best cake taste tester I could want.
Hugs are the norm, along with cuddles while watching horror films. I need someone to protect me during the scary bits, so why not Adrian? He’s almost a foot taller than me, so he makes a good armchair too.
Life is exactly the way I like it until Adrian’s sister drops a bombshell that leaves me questioning everything I think I know about myself and my straight best friend.
Can one kiss change everything? I’m about to find out.
Oblivious is an M/M best friends-to-lovers novella. It’s a light and fluffy love story, with a double bisexual awakening, a little bit of heat, and no angst. None. Zip. Nadda. There’s meddling family members and two sweet best friends who are totally oblivious about how much they really care for each other. Oh, and cakes. There’s lots of cakes.

A wonderful listen
What a wonderfully cute and fluffy story with all the good feels. Dan Calley is a new narrator for me but he brought both Fitz and Adrian to life. Loved it! What I love most about all Colette’s work is the care and respect between her characters. Just beautiful!

Warmth and romance with wonderful narration
This book is perfect for what it is - zero angst, friends to lovers romance. Adrian and Fitz have been best friends for about twenty years and always comfortable with each other, even for snuggles on the sofa during a horror movie. It's not until a meddling sibling decides enough is enough that they are aware of what they truly have with each other.
I love how these two men balance each other out. Fitz being the chatty social one and Adrian the quiet wallflower. They know everything about each other and yet have this whole new world to explore together as neither has been with a man before. It's such a sweet romance with fun between the MC's and their families, definitely the nosy types who only want their sons/brothers to be happy. Cannot recommend enough for those looking for a happy escape that is full of comfort and cupcakes.
Dan Calley's narration really brings the warmth and friendship between Adrian and Fitz to life. He offers a range of voices to all of the characters and I especially enjoyed Adrian's deeper tones.

Loved this!
Absolutely loved this story when it came out in e-book and I still love it now!
A super sweet romance with two adorable characters that are simply perfect together.
Dan Calley has brought this absolute delight to life!
I don't want to say too much about this as I don't want to spoil it for anyone!
I received an arc copy of this story from the author herself and this is my honest review.

sweet valentine's Day story
This has got to be my new favourite valentines day story and I'm so pleased it has been made into an audio book now. 💜 This is such a sweet story about best friends Fitz and Addy who have been friends for 20 years. They have both struggled with finding a connection with anyone else. When Addy's sister suggest they should just kiss each other and see how they feel. When they kiss it's the start of them experimenting and falling in love. I thought the narration was good and fitted with the characters. I enjoyed listening to this 💜

Friends to lovers. A joy to listen too.
Another gem of an audiobook. I loved the book but wow Dan Calley as the Narrator of the audio book makes it more special, the voices are awesome and fit the characters very well, the Narrator gives extra life and personality to the characters. I loved this heart warming listen, a lovely romance story of two opposite best friends finding out their other half was there all along. It seems the only people who don't think they are a couple are themselves, the two main characters of the book Fitz and Adrian "Addy" they've always got on well, doing things together, innocent touches here and there, even girlfriends mentioning it, looks from the members of their family. Then one day the sister mentions it to them, they're suprised and then try just one kiss to get it over with. From there we see them expand as as a couple, sorting out their emotions and how they feel about each other.

Perfect pick-me-up
Do not listen to this while hungry or you'll definitely have to make a run out for sweets. Adrian and Fitz have that friendship that we'd all love to have. A person who "gets" you completely, likes the things you like and fits into all those jagged pieces no one else quite seems able to do. This is the story of how they come to realize what they have is more than just a friendship. It's a perfect Valentine's Day treat - sweet and just the right size to enjoy without guilt in a break in your day. You'll come out of it smiling, refreshed and optimistic. Dan Calley's performance here is perfect for the story. His voice is sweet and warm and captures the friendship and love between these two just like you want to hear it.
