Excellent Dramatization of 7 of Marple's Cases
Excellent Dramatization of 7 of Marple's Cases, I thoroughly enjoyed these. Some based of full novels, others based on short stories, This compilation includes 7 dramatizations. Hopefully the other dramatizations currently available separately, will be released as a collection like this. Although Joan Hickson is my favourite Marple, June Whitfield does a great job. There is even a nod to another short story which was not dramatized.
Stories included:
The Moving Finger
They Do It With Mirrors
Nemesis
Sleeping Murder
Tape-Measure Murder
The Case of the Perfect Maid
Sanctuary

Splendid!
Anytime short stories from the queen of whodunnit. Wonderfully cast and played. A joy to listen to. Bedtime, walking the dog gardening and boring jobs, these short stories are perfect. My only complaint is the manner in which Audible chapter the books! One does not know where one book start and the next finishes. Very irritating if you listen at bed time and fall asleep! The timer is useless as the chapter times bare no relation to the book length!
Don’t let this put you off. The BBC has done a brilliant job of recording the dramas.

Great fun
These are great fun and the brilliant June Whitfield is the perfect Miss Marple. Really good adaptations, it would be good for Audible to include headings for ‘omnibus’ chapters so navigation is easier.
There is a review on here complaining about a two minute ‘advert’ I think they mean the cast credits and producer credits at the end of the programme, standard for radio plays and in no way are an advert just giving credit to writers and cast! Strange to think they are a commercial.
Really worthwhile for all Agatha Christie fans.
