About this listen
Mindfulness isn’t just for yoga mums and hippies—it’s for blokes who want to stop their brains from stitching them up. If you’ve ever overthought a text, lost your rag in traffic, or lain awake replaying that stupid thing you said three years ago, this book is for you.
This book is short ‘cause it doesn’t dick about. No fluff. No nonsense. Just straight-talking, practical mindfulness that actually works. You’ll learn how to:
Shut down stress before it takes over
Stop overthinking and clear your head
Stay cool under pressure
Sleep better and switch off when you need to
React less, respond better, and take control of your own mind
Forget sitting cross-legged on the top field at Glastonbury or chanting in a cave—this is mindfulness for real life. Written by the author channeling Ray Winstone’s Sexy Beast character, Gal Dove, Mindfulness for Blokes gives you the tools to stay sharp, stress less, and take charge of your own headspace.
Because your brain should work for you, not against you.

That told me - now I know!
Like having a straight talking bloke debunk mindfulness. Making it embarrassingly simple and straightforward. I didn’t think it was for me. Turns out it is. lol

good book
This book helped me realize that I don't have to go around pretending my anxiety doesn't exist. Mindfulness doesn't have to be sitting on a yoga mat with my legs crossed and my eyes closed, I can find mindful moments throughout the day when I'm at work, driving home or even at the gym. Great book to de-stigmatize something that is actually a healthy coping technique that all people can benefit from practicing.

Pretty Good!
I have always been curious about mindfulness but it's always seemed like bullcrap to me. I thought maybe there was some benefit, but people are way too hippie about it for my liking.
This audiobook does a great job of breaking things down and making them more palatable for an average guy. I like that a lot!

This is a superb audiobook helpful and funny
This is a superb audiobook one of the funniest I've listened to in years it's a different take on the mindfulness topic because it's specifically meant for blokes and therefore it's more straight to the point rough around the edges which is exactly what you need to get the guys listening to pay attention.
there's no flowery padding out or fairy talk it's just raw and accurate and straight to the point there's a lot of science in there as well which is told in a very Direct way and I learned things I didn't know, there's a lot of humor as well a lot of funny jokes and I've cracked up a number of times listening to it which is really good helps with stress.
the main thing is that because of the Direct delivery as a guy you don't dismiss it you listen and because you listen it's sinks in and then you're more likely to actually do it and therefore get the benefit of it so this is brilliant REALLY REALLY GOOD the BEST MINDFULNESS BOOK I have listened to on the topic and I'm going to continue to re-listen to it and make use of it so HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Just like a friendly chat between pals
Some really great tips and advice, but presented in such a way that it just feels like two mates having a chat down the pub. No big long explanations and scientific rationale - just straight into the issues and how to handle them - overthinking, over-reacting, stress, anger. Great tips for work and relationships too - highly recommend.

Valuable information
This audiobook is a valuable resource for anyone looking to take control of their mental and emotional well-being. I recommend it to people who are new to mindfulness and unsure where to start, skeptical of traditional mindfulness practices, and looking for practical tools to manage stress and improve their well-being.
