Jason sets about changing the course of history to prevent his brother’s death. Instead, he discovers unsettling secrets about the people around him – from those in his closest circle to Archie himself – until the shocking truth about what will happen on the night of the fire reveals itself.

As danger looms and secrets unravel, Jason finds himself in a nail-biting race against time to save his brother from his grim fate.

The Year I Lived Twice is a gripping tale of love, loss, and resilience. Join Jason on a journey through time, where every decision carries the weight of destiny and every moment holds the promise of redemption.

I was fully immersed!

This audiobook kept me hooked from the moment it started, I am a big fan of time travel and anything that bends the mind to think about. I found the writing to be very engaging and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I also have to applaud Shaun Mendum's performance as it made me feel like I was sitting next to a cozy campfire listening to the story. Highly recommended!

fascinating story

I am left reeling from this time travel thriller, pondering over fate vs. free will and the butterfly effect as it relates to our choices. The author does an incredible job at portraying Jason's desperation to save his brother which left me heartbroken and holding my breath the entire time. The time travel logic itself might not hold up to a great amount of scrutiny, but the emotional center of this story and the entanglement of those in relationships more than compensates for that. The politics of grief, and perhaps our willingness to do whatever it takes to change the past if only we were given the opportunity, linger with me after reading this novel. Long after I read the last page, I still think about who those characters were, and what moral dilemmas they were facing

Definitely recommend if you’re into time travel

I thought I’d just be reading about some time loop stuff, but it’s about way more than that. Watching Jason try to save his brother got me thinking about how messed up life can be. The twists were crazy, and honestly, I was frustrated at times, but it made me realize how much we can’t control. The whole thing really stuck with me. If you like stories that make you question everything and feel something deep, this one’ll do it. Don’t expect a perfect ending, but that’s what makes it real.
