Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

A sinister plot that will devastate the Western world. A 2,000-year-old mystery that still lurks in the depths....

When Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon answer a distress call from a research ship, nothing can prepare them for what they find.

A strange and dangerous toxin has left the crew helpless, unable to move or speak. And when a further attack leaves hundreds more paralysed, Juan and his team must race to find an antidote before the damage becomes permanent.

Their search for answers leads to a Roman soldier's long-lost testimony, revealing ancient events that strangely parallel their own. But with time running out and a ruthless enemy determined to seize power at any price, it will take all of Juan's ingenuity and skill to piece together the millennia-old mystery and save the West from the point of no return....

Explosive action, high-octane pacing and razor-sharp plotting ensure Clive Cussler's unassailable reputation as the Grandmaster of Adventure remains intact.

Unstoppable.

Having read all the Oregon files to date the thing I noticed most is that these stories seem to get better and better and better. This one was unstoppable in more than one way or another. Excuse the pun. Juan Cabrillo and his team of brilliant fun, I love the humour in the face of danger.
Scott Bricks narration is what brings the story to life. When the intensity increases so does his speed and emphasis to bring the point across. Wonderful highly highly recommended.

This audio book picked up all points relating to the replacement Oregon and how the crew fitted in. The Plot was great and I didn’t want to stop listening to it. Great stuff looking forward the next one. Many thanks

A ripper of an adventure

Have to say I got so invested in the main part of the story I forgot how it started and that never really happens.

I actually enjoyed it better than the last . Ok it’s a bit formulaic but not so much as some of the others .

a little predictable

I have lisented to all the Organ file books, and they have always left me wanting more, the moroder is no exception. however for this one to follow the final option, in my opinion probably the best book in the series. it has so many twist and turns it was impossible to predict, even after listening to it over 5 time, I think the Moroder, was a little predictable, and the bad guy lacked enthusiasm. over all still a good book and well worth a listen.
