Abundant sharing of insights into why vision.
It formed a sense of purpose. Expressed with such feeling that I could have listened for more enlightenment for a few more hours.

I've just been beckwith'd!
What did you like about this audiobook?
The content is excellent: insightful, nourishing and transformative. It has provided me with an enriched vocabulary to talk about my life journey and spiritual practice.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
The subject matter is beyond interesting - it is essential to expression and experience of our true nature whilst experiencing life in the body.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
The book makes visioning very explicit and somehow externalises and objectifies it - making it into a process or a practice to be learnt, rather than organic experience that blossoms with spiritual awareness. Whilst for some this may be empowering, I found the dynamism and constant repetition of the key phrases tiring and off putting. The book's constant challenge to seek and achieve your higher purpose, encourages you to be goal orientated instead of `being' orientated and does little to develop the beautiful experience and intimate relationship with the Self.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
So much is condensed into this book that the pace is relentless ... a little more space to ponder and `be' with what he is saying would be excellent. Awareness works often with what is not said and the space between the words and thoughts; whilst the content of this book is excellent, time to absorb and contemplate whilst listening would be a real blessing. The challenging assertiveness is unrelenting and perhaps drums out or overshadows the authenticity of our own still, small voice - which is the voice of our intuitive self. Beckwith's sophisticated rhetoric and slightly pretentious manner clashes with the simplicity of Awareness and the expression of `beingness'. Beckwith's eloquence and command of language is exceptional but his bold, assertive and emotive language is very reminiscent of American TV evangelists who carry people along in the cult of personality and feeling good. In contrast the language of the inner voice is quiet and gentle and for me this book did not facilitate the development of sensitivity and inner stillness to truly hear this.
Do you have any additional comments?
For those established in their own sense of beingness and spiritual practice, this book is a useful tool. However, these people will not need this book because they will have already developed the intuition and listening skills to hear their own inner voice. As an aspirational and motivational tool for those new to awareness or not fully committed to their own journey, it is indeed useful. However, proceed with caution, as it is so easy to get caught up with the carisma of the personality of the speaker and accustomed to his voice which is not the sound of your own inner voice. Beckwith perhaps will take you on his journey not your own.
