A Lot of golden nuggets
Really worth getting this.....has many little golden nuggets and practical techniques easily usable by anyone in any walk of life - not only sales. Easy to understand and well read, written and some really valuable research on the techniques being used.

Unique and comprehensive guide to sales
Well narrated and fascinating look at sales. However this book is more than just a sales book, as it contains some advanced communication techniques that can be used in all walks of life. Highly recommended.

Great listen and easy to follow
Am usually a bit skeptical about sales books but having read the great reviews I am so glad I got the audiobook. A really fascinating read, Derek knows what he is talking about and the narration was really clear and concise. A lot of takeaways and is not just relevant to people with sales background but really enjoyed the understanding personality types to mastering the principles of communication. Great insight into how the brain works too.

Hugely useful
I am just starting in the world of sales and this was so helpful, not just for my work life but I will try these tactics in my personal life too. I particularly liked Derek's pace at which he reads and the method and communication skills he mentions make so much sense when you understand a bit more about the psychology behind it all. I have a lot to learn about the mindset of a customer but I feel that this is a huge step forward. And who knew body language has such an impact!

Thoroughly Enjoyed - easy read
I really enjoyed the narrators pace of speaking which also was very clear. It made me visualise situations where some of the content can be used. Very relatable. Good explanation at the beginning of the book of how the brain works so helps to make sense of why we do and think the way we do …. And yes we must practice in the areas we are not too comfortable with. Anyone going into sales or indeed struggling in sales should buy this book.

Priceless insight!
This is a great book with priceless insight! I would recommend this book whether you are looking to improve your sales skills, or your life skills in general (e.g. negotiate your children's bedtime or "sell your idea" etc). In particular, I like how it broke down different personalities, how different people communicate, and how to adapt your communication style depending on who you talk to, for better communication. The book is filled with great learning material, tips and also real world scenarios and stories. Overall a very valuable read!
