Lots of twists and turns - most enjoyable.

This story starts with a hook to pull the listener in. The narrator was very good with her skill at several accents. I will probably listen to more of this author's work. Very good.

Gripping with great narration

So many twists and turns. I usually try and second guess authors but this took me a while to figure out! Great narration too which helped build the story and give life to the characters. A must read!

A sort of cold case story

The story keeps you guessing howeverJuanita McMahon reads beautifully; very important for an audio book. This is my first Sarah Ward. I shall try another at some point.

Well written, well read

This story and reader stands out amongst so much of the low-bar quality here. It’s a good enough story to keep you listening, and the reader is a cut-above most.

For once I didn’t guess the ending early on.

An easy listen - good story and well read. Not too predictable like a lot of the crime novels.

Loved this!

This had me gripped from start to finish. Juanita McMahon is easily the best narrator I've heard. I look forward to hearing another.

Really Gripping

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had a sort of cozy feel to it, a great storyline and I liked the characters. What was most outstanding was the narration. Wow, what a gorgeous voice and absolutely brilliant narration! Thank you audible

FINALLY a truly enjoyable, well written thriller

Maybe it’s just me luck but I’ve listened to so many mediocre crime books lately that this one is like a breath of fresh air, A refreshingly good story with a great twist, likeable characters (I wish there was a bit more depth to them but maybe I’m being greedy) and all skilfully read (I found 1.1 speed perfect).

A good listen

This book has a good story line and holds your interest throughout. Very well narrated. This was a new author for me and has defiantly sparked my interest to listen to more of her books.
