A Fantastic love story that doesn't want to be a love story! Jack wants fun with no strings attached until she meets Dakota, and she falls hard and fast for her charms. Will love win? Amazing narration that is pure joy to listen to. 🎶

Worth every second of listening time...
I enjoyed this so much it was difficult for me to leave it be. The characters pulled me in. I loved being part of this journey. Excellent writing from a wonderful Author.
Abby, I can't find any other voice/narrator, that is so capable of making each character so individual. You are so skilled in your craft and an absolute must in my book.

Great read!
I loved this book! Two totally different women from different worlds falling in love in such a delicious way! It has steam, romance, a police uniform and an appearance from Leila, what more could you want?

Red Flags Abound
When the inevitable break up before make up happens in this one, Jack has some very valid concerns about very obvious and vigorously waving red flags. I doubt it was the author's intention to indicate it, but it seems like Dakota would take her husband back in a heart beat if the option was put in front of her, which makes for a very awkward read. No one is reading romance so that the grand romance feels like second best.
Considering it seems Jack has noticed these red flags and wisely ducks out, you'd think they would then be addressed. They are not and I'm left rather disappointed with the conclusion of this story.
Craden as usual is stellar.

Expected more
Very much expected more for a Harper Bliss tale. I am slightly dissipated. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either... It was a little bit- cringe... The story was a jagged but all right for a background listen.
The performance was phenominal! Abby Craden delivered the gold, as usual.
