About this listen
Working remote on a houseboat in Seattle sounds amazing-until it rains for four months straight. Now Robbie Price would love any excuse to get on dry land. When a co-worker who's going through a divorce suggests a house swap, Robbie can't pass up the chance to spend four weeks in a beach cottage in San Diego. All she needs to do is avoid her co-worker's ex-wife and finish a few home improvement projects.
Devyn Lancaster never expected to get divorced, but she isn't exactly unhappy about how things have turned out. She has more time to focus on being a doctor in a busy hospital and can let go of trying to be a better wife. Still, there are some things at home she'd like someone to take care of. Like basically everything she has no time to do.
Robbie Price is the last person Devyn expects to want to keep around-especially after Robbie accidentally weed whacks her pollinator garden. But Robbie makes a mean lasagna and in one weekend completes half the items on her to-do list.
Soon Devyn has to admit she likes having a temporary housebutch. And Robbie can't deny the house swap turned out to be a perfect change. Saying goodbye at the end of the month might be harder than either realize.

easy listening
Nice short and easy listening, lesbian love story.
Side note The bit right at the end got me so much ... they better still have their pants on. I definitely laughed out loud.

Lovely
A well written story, with believable and interesting characters. There were a few predictable moments but when aren't there in a romance?
And the narrator was great too.
Can't really ask for more than that, so I pretty much listened to it all in a day and am now sad I've run out.

Useful people to have around
A ‘housebutch’ and a doctor are good characters and the story flows nicely. This is a likeable story and worth a listen especially with Abby Craden’s narration.

Excellent story
Usual brilliant narration by Abby Craden. She makes the story come to life and keeps you listening to the end.

Houseswap
Basic lesbian romance. Abby Craden does her usually good work as the narrator, but this wasnt Clevenger strongest work. Totally fine for entertainment and daydreaming.

A bit predictable
The storyline is fairly predictable and sometimes a bit farfetched. It also seemed a little muddled at times. I found the 'packing' episode quite off-putting. The narrator was good, although she did seem to muddle up the characters voices occasionally but that may have been down to the writing.
