Summary
Tobias
My name is Tobias Spencer, and as a small-town boy from Maine, it was always my dream to live in Boston. I finally made it; I just wasn’t expecting for my bad luck to follow me from Millinocket and leave me homeless at the mercy of kind people...person, at the mercy of a kind person who I now call my boss. My hot, perfect, broody, kind, and very straight, boss.
Working with Harvey Breevort is the best thing that happened to me in this city. Working with Harvey might be the worst thing that happened to me in this city. I want him; I crave him. Maybe...maybe I even need him.
Harvey
Setting up Tobias on a date surely backfired; I wasn’t expecting him to like this guy at all. They don’t even look good together. I mean, he is attracted to me. He does his best to hide it, and even though it’s not reciprocated, I don’t mind that his cheeks get all red and flushed when I swim in my pool, which is why it pisses me off that he likes this guy that looks so much different to me.
Tobias should be consistent, right? If he likes muscles, then he should go looking for someone that looks like me. Not me, definitely not me! But he should at least...look like me. Shouldn’t he.

Feel good story
I’m reviewing the audio version. I found it an entertaining and sad coming out story. Tobias is treated awful by his family. I cannot imagine how anyone can behave this way. He finds himself in a bad situation and luckily is saved by Harvey. Harvey is the entertaining one. He is in more than denial. Yet he is also attracted to Tobias. The banter between these two made the story more enjoyable. The warmness of Harvey’s family made me very happy. All the situations the author set up while following Harvey’s coming out, the three way, the multitude of women, added to the feeling how hard this was for Harvey. The decision on who is the top and who is the bottom was pretty funny. I feel this is a good story. I feel the author thought out the situations to make them believable. I think she also kept the story moving, Tobias’s friends and career and Harvey’s friends and family, so I didn’t find any part skipable. I feel she tied up the ending and made me happy for the characters. I feel the narration by J.R. Pyfferoen brought the story to life. I will be looking into more of this author’s stories. I have to thank Gay Romance Review for the free copy that introduces me to new author’s I enjoy.

Gay indeed
Tobias was so snarky and just lovely, Harvey was a bit of a jerk but he was struggling with his new found feelings. Tobias's family, oh man they were so unbelievably rude. I was surprised with how relaxed Harvey was with his decisions. I would love to see more of this type of story, it was so good and really enjoyable. Harvey in protective mode was awesome and Tobias was very funny. A very easy listen bought together with the perfect narration.

Laugh out loud funny
from the intro until the end I was laughing out loud. I love the banter between the two characters. Is it the best book ever...nope but the narrator did such a great job with it that I was able to get past the development that this author will learn as they grow. I'd say give this book a chance, give this author a chance!

His Hero.
Tobias left small town Maine after coming out to his family and not long after arriving in Boston finds himself in a bad situation, he is rescued by Harvey Breevort and soon finds himself crushing on him, but Harvey is straight..very, very straight! Fantastic MM romance with heat and bi-awakening some very sad moments and angst. J.R. Pyfferoen did a great job narrating.

A Dramatic Meet-Cute
Gay Indeed is a cute novella that made for a fast, fluffy read. The book starts off with a meet-cute between Tobias, a young man who’s brand new to New York City, and Harvey, a successful restaurant owner. There is a lot of drama, humor, shenanigans, more drama, and some extremely hot, steamy moments. For a novella, a lot of things happen in the plot – at first I was a little off-put by this, but the more I got into the story, more I enjoyed the fast pace and the characters’ reactions to everything. This book felt like an extended soap opera episode, and honestly, I really liked it. I liked the drama, I loved the relationship growth, and the characters were really endearing. Overall, this was a fun book full of fluff, humor and excitement.
J.R. Pyfferoen is a new-to-me narrator. He did a great job with the audiobook narration and I had fun listening to him voicing each of the characters. He performed the book wonderfully, and it made it very entertaining to listen to. Overall, this was a fun audiobook with a great audio production.

Tobias' very bad day(s); sweet GFY story
I enjoyed this sweet, kind of quirky story. Tobias is having a rough time. He is disowned by his family for being bi and is shocked to be cast aside, so he decides to fulfill his life-long dream of moving to Boston. However, when he gets there, he is almost immediately mugged and robbed of his belongings. He is literally begging restaurants to give him something to eat when one restaurant owner, like the sun coming out from the clouds, invites him to eat with him, listens to his story, gives him a place to stay and a job. The book proceeds like this, good things happen, followed by bad. (No details; you'll have to listen for yourself. Through it all, Tobias remains a mostly upbeat, cheerful person, and I loved that about him. Harvey, his rescuer is straight, or so they both believe. He even sets Tobias up on a date, then doesn't understand why he feels jealous. The development of their relationship is gradual until a near tragedy brings a clearer perspective. The process is entertaining, and sometimes extremely funny. There are some very truly sad points, and Tobias' family were abhorrent at every turn, but overall it's a sweet, fun story.
The narration is good. J. R. Pyfferoen did a great job voicing the characters.

Light fun and a perfect performance
I loved this story, especially Harvey and those conversations he has with himself about Tobias. He is so confused by his feelings and doesn't face facts for way too long, but not in a way that irritated me as a reader, in a way that made me smile, waiting for the inevitable to happen. Tobias was the perfect guy to bring out Harvey's protective side. He isn't a weak character, just a guy with a crummy family and some bad luck. J. R. Pyfferoen is a completely new narrator for me but I will definitely look for more of his work in the future. He has a great voice that is easy to listen to and perfectly captured the tone of this story.

Well, Gay indeed
Tobias was on his worst day when he met Harvey, the handsome restaurant owner. It was kismet. Harvey took Tobias under his wing til he found his footing. Left without the support of his family and no ID, Tobias finds a lifeline with Harvey who is very straight by the way. I enjoyed that Harvey was so protective and even when he believed himself totally straight he was so jealous. It was a journey for both but worth it.

A great narration for an outstanding book!
I am a huge fan to reread books I already love through an audiobook to be able to enjoyed the way a voice actor brought the beloved characters to life. This is the case with this book and I enjoyed a lot Mr Pyfferoen performance. His charismatic voice and energetic reading made a delight hearing all about Harvey and Tobias. Their story is straightforward, a gay-for-you romance with some angst, many heartwarming moments, and amazing dialogues. I enjoyed a lot everything but specially how Harvey and Tobias slowly accepted their feelings for each other. A wonderful book narrated beautifully. So great!
