Summary
The 10th novel from the million-copy best-selling author.
Three houses have been burgled in five weeks. The robbers barge in through the back, disable any way to contact the outside world, and then ransack everything - before distributing the stolen cash to local charities.
It might be robbing from the rich to give to the poor, but Detective Inspector Jessica Daniel is not a happy bunny. The new DCI has a whiteboard with far too many things on the 'unsolved' side, and he wants the burglars found. Doesn't he know she has other things to do? There's a lottery winner who's gone bankrupt, the homeless teenager she's taken in, the botched drugs raid, a trip to London with DC Archie Davey, and a man-mountain Serbian with a missing wife who's been pimping out young women.
All the while, someone's watching from the wings and waiting for Jessica to mess up. Officers are being pensioned off and booted out - with a certain DI Daniel firmly in their sights.

Good story
Preferred this to 2 books back. Getting into them again. Guessed the ending. Straight onto the next.

Best audiobooks ever!
I have listened to all of the Jessica Daniel books & have to say they are at the top of my list of favourite audiobooks. The stories are brilliant with gently weaving story lines & Becky Hindley is absolutely fantastic, the narration brings the books alive. I want to listen, walk the dogs until they can walk no more, invent items to be ironed, but I never want the books to end! Brilliant! Can't wait for the next episode in Jessica's life.

Yet another brilliant realistic masterpiece.
Having read the whole series of Jessica Daniel novels by Kerry Wilkinson this one kept me on tenterhooks the whole way through. I have been gripped by Kerry’s work since the freebie I downloaded from kindle all those years ago. Most other crime fiction has fallen by the wayside long ago. Thrilled to have just down loaded the next in the series.

Great Series
Love these books, I'm well and truly hooked. One small request is that whoever is editing can they please use 'brought' when bringing something and 'bought' having purchased something. This happens when bringing pizza to the flat. 1hr 52 min from the end. Thank you

Love it!
I absolutely loved this series - have listened to all 10 and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all! Bit disappointed with part of the last book (I won't give anything away but if you've listened to it you'll know which bit I mean!) - like I'm sure many others were but that didn't stop me grabbing this one straight after its release. I did listen to book 9 again before this to get back into Jessica's story and started this one straight after so it flowed nicely.
Great story and very well read by Becky Hindley - she is Jessica for me and helps create the scene. I do think you should read these in order as they do refer back in parts so helps you understand her past.
Another great book in the series - please keep writing these Kerry!

Left this book with 15 mins to go!
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The story, was there one?
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The description of the story was nothing like the actual book
What about Becky Hindley’s performance did you like?
Brilliant, like her a lot. Would read another book narrated by her
Was For Richer, for Poorer worth the listening time?
no
Any additional comments?
I'm not saying that the story wasn't good just not what I expected hence when it didn't materialise I decided to give up on it.

Not for me
This book just didn't hold my attention, my mind kept wandering resulting in me having to keep rewinding. I managed to get to the end eventually but need not have bothered it was as boring as the rest. The narration was okay but didn't add anything exciting. Disappointing.

Not the best
I dislike leaving less than glowing reviews but this was boring. I didn’t like the narration as she almost read it in a jocular manner which I didn’t like. Some on the content regarding the police wasn’t believable. I’m sorry. I have downloaded another of Kerry’s books so I’m hoping this is better.
