Simple but flowing space story
The performance I gave 5 to as it is generally fine, I only give less on the whole if it really grates with me, this did not and sometimes it is very much a personal preference.
The story if fairly straight forward but engaging, it flows well and draws you along, it is not majorly original if you listen to a good amount of SciFi but that is no bad thing. It is futuristic but not fantastical science and that is a part of it which I like life in the deep dark is still a struggle. Care relationships and characters are generally good and you can relate to them. The salvage, revenge aspects are straight forward and it does feel like you are getting an insight to the daily life of the characters which I liked. Overall I did enjoy it and would say it is worth a listen. Once I have gotten through my backlog of titles I would be happy to consider another book from this author.

Excellent work, well thought out story
Enjoyed the work, characters and narration. All up to good standards.
The story carries you along, and the characters have enough depth to make investment in their efforts worthwhile.
Emily Woo Zeller performs the tale well, making subtle changes when required for character or storyline.
A space opera about the discovery of an AI ship with a history, by a group of characters striving to do the right thing, but willing to cut corners to do it.
The author isn't afraid to dispose of characters, but even those not involved in the main narrative get a good development.
The story develops across the 3 books shifting with the main protagonists in good style.
Well worth a read.

The three books where well read by the actor
I like the space of the three books and the way the actor created the characters was well thought out. I look forward to hearing book 4

More to come?
Although this says it is a complete series books 1-3 the last book leaves you wondering if there will be another book, if not it was left with a lot of unanswered questions. I did enjoy the series and the narrator was quite good. This is a typical space story, captain - ship - crew and battles along the way. Plus 3 books for 1 credit is a bargain.

really enjoyed this one
good story with strong female lead. Although it's a series each book could stand alone - no cliff hangers though each book does set the next one up. Loved the narrator!
