Summary
AD 55. The Emperor Claudius is dead. Nero rules. His half-brother Britannicus has also laid claim to the throne. A bloody power struggle is underway.

Unmissable with outstanding narration
Reading the whole series, exceptional narration to suit such a brilliant story. Jonathan Keeble makes it come alive

a great read
Another thoroughly exciting book in the Cato and macro series. would recommend this to anyone who just likes a good story not necessarily historical.

Action packed tale and well written
You will love the characters of Macro and Cato. They are funny and loveable. The other characters are well written too.
