Absolutely lovely
I really, really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the storyline it was magical, just couldn’t put it down. Highly recommended

I like the story line the plot etc but the main character was hard to listen to. I kept hoping she would lighten up.
why is a thirty year old lady sounding like she is 60!!! It was so difficult to like her and not be irritated by her.

Not for me
Local girl moves away, gets rich, moves home, doesn’t want to be defined by her money but spends whole story spending money and interfering in peoples lives.
No likeable characters or slightly realistic storylines.

Ok for a free audiobook, didn’t enjoy the narration
Cringy, cliched writing, unrealistic dialogue between characters. Poor narration that set my teeth on edge, like she was smiling the whole time. Quite an enjoyable story overall despite all that

Good story with a lovely underlining moral
I have really enjoyed listening to Coming Home to Penvennan Cove, although I have to say I have wanted to kick Kerra's butt multiple times, not only for trying to control her friend's but being so pig headed and quite frankly, arrogant, albeit with the best intentions! I'm sure there are people like this, but blimey they must be hard work to live with. However it was lovely to listen to Kerra learning to relax, because ultimately she is a gem - a bloomin' annoying one at times.
