Summary
The galaxy burns. The enemy, a race of alien scorpions, storms from star to star. Planets smolder in their wake. Across the galaxy, they hunt humans.
Long ago, we humans had a planet of our own. Long ago, we could have resisted the scorpions. But today we are refugees. We are lost in darkness. We haven't seen Earth in 2,000 years. We, the last humans, must band together. We must resist. We must fight the scorpions. And we must find Earth! Only Earth can unite us. Only Earth can kindle our hope. Only on Earth can we defend our species.
Our homeworld calls us from beyond myth and shadow. We must find a way home. Or the scorpions will kill us all. Earth is but a memory. But we will not forget.
Earth will rise again!

Too gory
It’s really good but it’s got a bit to much of the detail with killing

Stuff just doesn’t make sense
My first ever review on this app I’m just so disappointed with these audiobooks that I felt I needed to comment after repeatedly getting frustrated listening to these audiobooks. With statements like “Viewing a Sun rise whilst in space traveling at warp speed” WTaF completely lost me at that point. Good idea with good characters. Just way to preachy and none of the science makes any sense.

Disappointing
In general I like the story. Unfortunately the overdone cultish Earth talk and the lack of scientific accuracy is annoying. For one kids learn quite young that fire requires oxygen, yet this story seems to have a lot of fire in the vacuum of space...
