Zosia Wand is an author and playwright whose stories are rooted in the landscape of South Cumbria. Her commissions include a number of plays for Radio 4. The Treehouse, a 5 part thriller was Radio Times Pick Of The Week. Her play, Quicksand, was a sell out at The Dukes Playhouse, Lancaster and Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. The Guardian described her adaptation of Hansel and Gretel and More Tales from the Forest for Williamson Park as “a form of free-association fairy tale remix that owes as much to Shrek as to the Brothers Grimm”. Her psychological thrillers, Trust Me (2017) and The Accusation (2018) are published by Head of Zeus. Once Upon A Place (a story that grew from the Quicksand play) is her literary debut. The Treehouse is the third novel in the Tarnside Trilogy.
