My kids are adults now, however my parenting life was just like yours. Some days my kids and I argued all day long. It happens to all of us! One day my 3 yr. old and I were in the middle of a full-blown conflict day. I reached out to hug him to start over, and he pulled away from me. He was afraid of me; I was crushed by his response.
