Summary
Théoden has his plate full training his newest son, Dante, as well as investigating the death of the vampire in his territory. If that wasn't enough to keep him busy, Dante, the half vampire, half werewolf hybrid is the fated mate of Josef, the Alpha of the River Rock werewolf pack. With this knowledge, Théoden knows that things are about to get violent, because if he knows anything about wolves...they will stop at nothing to claim their mates.
Noel hasn't even been a vampire for a full month yet, but now he must fight for his life when the River Rock Alpha wages war or Théoden and his House. He's never had to fight in a battle of swords, fangs and claws, but he will do whatever it takes to prove to his sire and brothers that he is one of them...and worthy of the House of Théoden.
Josef knew the moment he'd caught Dante's scent, that the wolf-vampire hybrid was his mate. He'd rather Dante not be bound to Théoden, because he hates vampires and distrusts them, but his mate is a gift and he'll take him and way he can get him. There's just one obstacle standing in his way, but after waiting eight centuries for Dante, he's not going to let Théoden stop him for claiming what belongs to him. Deacon is still learning what it means to be mated and he and Elijah are navigating their relationship, discovering things about themselves that they never knew. For instance, Elijah is a submissive and Deacon enjoys putting him on his knees. Of course, bonding with Elijah isn't the only thing Deacon has to be concerned about. He soon discovers that all of his well-laid plans may unravel. The half-breed wolf he turned over to Théoden as part of their deal is his rival's mate. If he's exposed for the crimes he'd committed, if could mean war. Lucky for him, Elijah has a plan.
Listener Advisory: Stubborn mates, possessive alpha males, more kinks than you can count, and colorful language that may cause severe blushing. Adult content, graphic violence, and all kinds of sexual situations.

Intense
This was definitely one of the longest audiobooks I’ve had the pleasure of listening too. I devoured this one over two days, staying up to the wee hours to listen to it, that little bit more.
I’m loving this series! There was so much going on and loads of characters to keep track of. The kink and BDSM just took things to a whole new level.
Best to read the books in order, so you can fully enjoy the series!

Good
I love this series, the characters and the story. There won't probably be any bad listens to this series due to the fact that I've got a soft spot for this whole world. Unfortunately due to me already having listened to the Matt Williams version of these characters, I'm afraid I associate the characters voices with the ones he has done so whilst listening to this book but by a different narrator and thus putting their own spin on the characteristic tones and accents I was like nope that's not how he's supposed to sound. It was a bit like when an actor gets replaced from a long running series and a different actor takes up the role, it's good but not quite the same. So even though this narrator did the whole sexy play out with all the groans and whispered words which were very well done it just didn't gel with my expectation of voices I've already labelled with these characters. Saying that it was still well done and I love listening to the story play out and the intensity of the action. Still well worth a listen.

Intense, dark and so good
Oh yeah!!!
Love this series so much and finally this book came out in audio too! I was so excited to listen to it because I almost forgot how amazing this series is. Almost! hAAHAHHa. Just kidding, this series is unforgettable. But sadly, it wasn't yesterday that I read this particular part in the series and some things were surprise for me too. It was like reading it for the first time.
Oh, and this one... we got the first most painful goodbye in this one. And there are Dante and Josef's first meeting too, so yeah, it's a really thick one, so many things are happening here.
And the narration just *chef kiss*.
