Summary
As one of the 12 Guardians, Urian has spent the last several centuries in a constant battle to keep the inhabitants of Earth’s realms under control. Humanity has to evolve, hell beasts need to die, and Immortals need mates. But lately, Uri's mind is overrun with thoughts of the sexy demi-goddess he’s forbidden contact with.
Alexandra and her brothers have managed to evade the Guardians for centuries. Sensing she was needed on Earth, Alexandra forces herself to stay away from the only male who has ever truly enticed her. Until her world turns upside down.
For 100 years she’s watched Urian from the shadows, playing a wicked voyeuristic game to no end but to fuel her obsession with him. But now, she must seek out the enthralling Guardian to save her brother’s life, even if it means her own exile. Either way, she won’t go quietly.

Fantasy world wow
Wowza that start was quite the hawt sensual bang! And honestly I was a bit confused with all of the characters and finding out who was who. 🤓 I listened to it more than once to find out more of the backstory. But definitely a very fast paced and sensual experience.
Urian or Uri is a guardian of the realm and the MMC of this first book of the series. He’s been playing a voyeuristic game for centuries with a sexy goddess that he’s forbidden from. Gods were creating havoc in the realms and the Creator stepped in and brought forward the Guardians to protect the realms especially the humans. The Gods were exiled and put to sleep to protect the realms from their evil ways.
But there is a few Demigods who are still around but not creating havoc. One is our FMC Alexandria or Alex, she too has been watching over all Uri and Gregoire, his fellow guardian do at their BDSM hangout. And let me tell you it’s scorching hot. Alex also has these episodes where she loses or takes on other people’s consciousness. She been using her insights from her episodes to help others so far with her two brothers. This is how she finds Samantha and sees her in the hands of some vile people who are experimenting on the women they’re abducting. Women who have magical power. When Alex and her brothers get in a bind when trying to find Sam, Alex has to go to risk going for help with the guardians and hope she and her brothers are not exiled and put to sleep.
So much action in this fantasy world. With every magical and mystical creature one can fathom. And this is certainly an explosive start to the series.
Uri and Alex were definitely sole mates and they do consummate the marriage but they didn’t get the villian Cyril (demigod son of Apollo) who is bent on finding a Mageias to complete some insane ritual to become stronger.
The acting from both narrators, Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom were amazing and really helped me keep all of the characters in the correct order in my mind. Definitely need to pay attention to this audiobook since there so much world building here. But a fantasy world you’re going to want to hear about!

4.5 Stars!
Thanks to Setta Jay, Karen White and Homecooked Books for a free audio copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions shared are my honest thoughts about this book.
As one of the twelve Guardians, Urian has spent the last several centuries in a constant battle to keep the inhabitants of Earth’s Realms under control. Alexandra and her brothers have managed to evade the Guardians for centuries. For the past hundred years, Alexandra has been drawn to and watching Urian from the shadows. She's been obsessively playing a wicked voyeuristic game with him. As for Urian, he knows she watches him and he too is drawn to Alexandra. They both have a connection that they don't understand. When Alex's brother's life is in danger, she must seek help from the Guardians. This proves to be very dangerous as it could risk her own exile.
I really enjoyed this book. It was jam-packed full of action and spice, and was overall fun to read/listen to. There is a lot happening in the story. There are many different beings and immortals within the story. I can't say too much without spoilers, but I had a good time overall. Now I'm excited for Gregoire’s story in the next book!
The audiobook was a great listen. Narrated by Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom, both narrators did amazingly. I felt the emotions of the characters. And, their voices were perfect for the roles as well as fitted together well. They truly brought the overall story to life!

Goodcstart to new series.
A lot happens very quickly in the first chapters of this book in terms of scene setting, characters and world building. A bit confusing at times, but still interesting. Once the main story starts properly, I was fully invested. There is action, heat and intrigue. CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow are both so very good, bringing the characters and narrative to life. A very good listen. 💖💖💖💖
