Summary

So, you want to know my life… of how I became the Alpha wolf that I am today? My reputation speaks for itself. I am ruthless, cunning, and yes, very opportunistic. But I wasn’t always this way. There was a time in my life when I was innocent, but that was ripped from me and replaced with the need to survive in a world that had no mercy for weakness. My story isn’t for the faint of heart. The road to my success has been paved by sacrifice, betrayal, and blood. I want–no–I need you to know who I am.

Warning: This is one of the most intense paranormal series you’re ever going to find. Proceed with caution and get ready to clutch your pearls. This isn’t a romance, but love finds a way amidst the carnage. For mature listeners only. Will contain triggers.

Amazing

This was awesome writing and the narrator did a fantastic job, bring the story to life. I loved to get to know Deacon a bit more. I hated him and now I loved him!

Perfect narration

This was a fantastic listen, I love listening to matt Williams narrating these characters, for me he just emphasises there personalities and accents perfectly. I definitely felt deacons sneakiness throughout the book. The story as always is right up there and is one of my all time favourites. It gives us the backstory of deacon before everything kicked off in new haven series. Although this is a prequel I'd recommend starting first with the new haven series as there's just something exciting and Christmas like peeling back your own perception of a character (which I hated by the way) to loving them. I loved delving into deacons past and seeing how he became what we know of him now. Definitely be a favourite to listen to.
