An overconfident pilot with a stolen spaceship must fix an alien device before time runs out. The Newtonians came to Earth 2000 years ago looking for a place to call home. Earth was perfect, except its sun had a fatal flaw that needed to be corrected. Once it was fixed, they were free to abandon their ship and leave it to orbit the planet below. Earthlings commonly refer to it as the moon.

Time is running out for the people of New Pallas. Thousands of years ago, militants who were against integrating with human society stole a spaceship called The Illuminati, in the hopes that they could overthrow the Newtonian government.

The plan seemed simple enough. Shoot all of the members with a specially designed gun that not only subdued them but also tagged them with a locator chip. Once they were tagged, the bad guys were automatically teleported away and delivered to the interior of Mars.

As the mysterious signal coming from the waystations counts down, only one thing is for certain: something is coming, and if the fractured factions of the galaxy can’t find a way to stand against it together, it may be the end for them all.
