October 2001. Nearly a month after the September 11th terrorist attacks, Mr. Ramneek Singh is working away at his gas station near Yuba City, California. While leaving his shop one night, he is brutally beaten as a form of retaliation for the terrorist attacks. Or so it seems. The American Dream has been rewarding to the turban-wearing immigrant until now. The only thing Mr. Singh doesn't realize is that hate has bred in Sutter County long before him. The Legend of Dominick Brasi follows the journey of a New York City man by the name of Dominick Brasi. He goes off to fight in the Vietnam War during the mid-1960s and returns back to the borough of Richmond (present-day Staten Island) in 1968, only to find himself lost. Both in net worth and lost in purpose. With the help of his older brother, Charlie "Bricks" Brasi, Dominick ascends through the ranks of the feared Romano Family—one of New York's Five Families.
