After his first college party, Dallion wakes up alone in a small medieval village in the middle of nowhere. First, he needs to figure out where he is and how to survive a mysterious world filled with magic and monsters. Then, he must uncover the secrets of being 'awakened,' which is apparently what he is. Objects in this new world are sentient, allowing the 'awakened' to mend or upgrade them by traveling into any object's unique realm and defeating the guardians that lie within.

The poison plague continues to spread throughout the world. Nobles everywhere have isolated themselves in their cities, pretending nothing outside exists. Dallion has been called to the provincial capital by a member of Archduke Linatol’s family, on an errand of vast significance. At the same time, the Green Moon has emerged in Dallion’s dreams to demand his due. In exchange for the help that made him the Hero of Nerosal, Dallion must now venture into the empty south in search of a dragon to free.

Having obtained the ability to talk to any and all items and area guardians, Dallion has traded the bustle of the city for the calm of the wilderness. Guided by Jiroh and her squad of elite hunters, Dallion roams the wilderness, exploring ruins and fighting monsters too powerful for others. But he soon discovers that Jiroh has a mission of her own—one he didn’t see coming. And she isn’t alone...

After defeating the village chief, Dallion finally ventures to the city of Nerosal filled with thousands of awakened, not all of them human. His new goals are the same many small-town awakened share: Fit in, join a guild, make a name for himself.

Dallion thought that his successful encounter with the star would grant him calm, respect, and the luxury of leveling up at his leisure. He couldn’t have been more wrong. Juggling between surprise visits from old friends, new guild responsibilities, and the preliminary trials for the glorious Festival Tournament, Dallion gets caught up in dealings with Nerosal’s awakened criminal underground.

Star cultists and chainlings have infiltrated the city, mixing with the hundreds of awakened who have come to take part in the grand tournament in the hopes of being noticed by the region’s Countess. Dallion’s life is split between fighting in the tournament and exploring the world item of his Guild. Soon, he finds out that the two are connected and might contain answers not only to the world’s past but one of his item guardians as well. Dallion must use everything he’s learned to unlock the world item’s secrets and top the Star in a race that holds the fate of Nerosal in the balance.

TEIL 1 Das Nerosal Festival ist in vollem Gange. Alles ist im Fluss. Dallion dachte, dass seine erfolgreiche Begegnung mit dem Stern ihm Ruhe, Respekt und den Luxus bescheren würde, in aller Ruhe leveln zu können. Er hätte sich nicht mehr irren können. Er jongliert zwischen Überraschungsbesuchen von alten Freunden, neuen Aufgaben in der Gilde und den Vorprüfungen für das glorreiche Festivalturnier und wird in Geschäfte mit dem erwachten kriminellen Untergrund von Nerosal verwickelt.

Nachdem er den Häuptling des Dorfes besiegt hat, wagt sich Dallion in die Stadt Nerosal, in der es Tausende von Erwachten gibt, von denen nicht alle Menschen sind. Seine neuen Ziele sind die gleichen wie die vieler Erwachter in Kleinstädten: sich anpassen, einer Gilde beitreten und sich einen Namen machen.Jetzt muss er sich schnell an das Stadtleben anpassen, wenn er mithalten will.

Nach seiner ersten College-Party wachte Dallion in einem kleinen Raum ohne Türen und Fenster auf... Das nächste, woran er sich erinnert, ist, dass er als "Erwachter" in einem kleinen mittelalterlichen Dorf mitten im Nirgendwo aufgewacht ist. Jetzt muss er nur noch herausfinden, was zum Teufel hier los ist. Und was ist überhaupt so schlimm daran, erwacht zu sein?!
