She's got a great, if strict and strictly yummy, boss, a vampire for a boyfriend, and yeah, that has its issues and politics, but overall, life's lookin' pretty good. The director, in a bid to score political points, puts Ariana on a case interrogating famous serial killer JB Truck, aka The Puzzle Master.

She's got an extremely handsome boss, a dancing partner among the lab techs, and a solid year as the team rookie under her belt... Right until the director gives her a big break, working undercover as a singer at a club to investigate why it's being targeted by a serial killer. This might have worked better if the club wasn't a vampire nest.
