The only way to awaken all the dormant magic within is to feel grateful that we have already unlocked it. I adore this apparent paradox - Dean Fraser. Living at peace with all that makes you…well, you! This is home…simply takes a change in point of view. Being happy in your skin, everywhere feels like home. Constantly at home wherever you choose to roam. I see them. Seeking a bluer sky. Those streets seemingly paved with gold. A charmed life looked at from a distance. What about me? I am grateful to waken this morning.

Life is fundamentally all about the choices we make. Indeed change remains the only constant throughout our lives. Change is never something to be scared of; it will happen anyway, so now you can become attuned to these transformational moments in life and make them work for you! If you are going to be judged by others anyway, why not let it be for being a happily passionate and enthusiastic participator in life!

The Summer of Love of 1967 was the inspiration for this book! These lyrical poems speak of love indeed being all we need, how we can always choose which stairway we're on, saying hello and I love you to yourself, realising born to be mellow, how people can seem strange, there's something about the sun here, discovering our inner magic carpet ride in the season of the witch and dragons. Never a book to simply listen to, you EXPERIENCE this transcendental journey and might well meet yourself somewhere along the way! The Healing for Gaia is so far out you can almost smell the incense man!

Stress is such a global issue. I had to do something about it. Yet what difference can one person make? Every time I see for myself the transformation someone has undergone through learning how to control their life, rather than events controlling them – I have my answer. And yet I am equally fully aware that all healing is essentially self-healing.

I appreciate I am a fortunate person. I love to travel and I adore writing poems. Happily, I am able to combine the two in many of my poetry books. For this collection I travelled further and explored deeper than ever before. You can hold the results in your very hands. I always see my stories as glimpses into moments of time, rather like seeds trapped in amber, windows offering a view into past events and places I have been.

These tales have been inspired and written about places I have visited in the evocative Red Rose County and the people I encountered along the way. Some of these are people I have met, others from the past brought to life once again through the power of words. This is a county I have come to know intimately over the decades, my first live poetry shows were right there in Lancashire and I actually lived within the Preston area when writing this collection. I always see my poetic tales as windows offering glimpses into a frozen moment of time, rather like seeds trapped within amber.
