In this episode, Natasha Tile shares her journey from casual runner to tackling incredible challenges, like running the Camino de Santiago! Natasha’s story is filled with resilience, adventure, and an inspiring commitment to pushing her limits.
Growing up in an active family, Natasha was always involved in sports like gymnastics, tennis, and netball. Running initially started as a way to stay fit for these activities, but over time, it became her passion. She talks about how she rediscovered running during her studies and eventually trained for marathons and long-distance challenges, even while juggling a demanding career in emergency medicine.
One of Natasha’s most remarkable achievements was running 781 kilometers across the Camino de Santiago. She not only conquered the mental and physical challenges of this ultra-endurance feat but also raised funds for a meaningful cause—bringing better hygiene and sanitation facilities to remote communities in Australia.
Natasha reflects on the joy of running, how it grounds her, and how it’s become a way to explore new places. She also highlights the mental battle of endurance running and shares some fantastic tips to inspire both beginners and seasoned runners.
