    ### Fish Activity

Crappie are best caught with minnows and dark-colored jigs. Catfish are biting well on punch baits, cut shad, and prepared baits. For bass, use hard baits early and plastics later, focusing on main lake points and shallower humps.

    ### Hot Spots
    One of the hot spots is along the shallow flats, especially under working birds where striped bass and sand bass are active. Another good spot is near the ledges and ditches where striped bass are schooling up. The tributaries and creeks are also new territory for striped bass, making them worth exploring.

    Overall, Lake Texoma is in great shape for fishing right now, with plenty of action from various species. Just remember to be stealthy, especially in the mornings, to avoid spooking the fish.
