Surface level fluff

Disappointed by this. Contains a lot of ‘exercises’ but a lot of them are what I would describe as fluff. There’s some useful stuff, but quite a lot of filler and then it gets into techniques like angel/crystal healing and vibrations. Whether you believe in that sort of thing or not I don’t think this book is going to help people with real issues in the long term.

Not quite what I expected

This book started well with some empowering exercises and helped with controlling emotions etc but the second half was really weird. I felt it went off on several tangents about nature, the universe and history in far too much detail and repeating the same thing over and over. I understand everything is connected but this just got boring and I ended up switching off with over an hour left so I don’t know, it might improve but it just bored me by that point.

Ok. Nothing special.

As per title. Just standard mindfulness stuff. Stick to real therapy if you really feel you need it.

Very enjoyable but

Would be good to have a workbook with the exercises especially for the audio version.
I really enjoyed Alan Lucas voice and style of reading. It made it very accessible for me. Thanks Alan!
