Don't drop this book from your listen too pile

I enjoyed this book. Move over Harry Potter there is a new witches and wizard school in town and they solve murders with style, imagination and humour. I love this group of girls, all with their different personalities and flair. I really felt for the girls when the murder victim was discovered but the author soon had me chuckling, as the girls try their hand at magic to correct the problem but as they are only trainee witches things don't go to plan. You learn more about the characters in this book, especially Jax's inability to do magic and the history between the two warring families, so I would probably say you need to read or listen to the books in order to help you understand there backgrounds more but as I enjoyed the series so far I would recommend them. There wasn't a huge suspects list but must admit I was surprised when the killer was revealed. Things are changing for the girls and I can't wait to see how.
Sweets is burning the candle at both ends, as she tries to keep up with her school work and run the bakery in her bosses absence. When the happy couple returned from there honeymoon things were supposed to get better. Instead Mr Bailey dies soon after the surprise party Sweets arranges. Now his widow needs Sweets even more, to help run the bakery and find his killer. Can the witch squad rise to the occasion or will magic complicate things? Especially when magic was used to kill him.
With time against them the witch squad will have to move fast before Sweets becomes the prime suspect.
I like the narrator. She uses her voice well to create clear and different characters, even going so far to give them slight accents.
