So good! Fast paced, great storytelling.
This book was amazing, I was obsessed the moment I saw the map and the first few pages!
It's a fantastical story with mythical creatures and magic, amongst many other things. You simply must read it, please hurry with the next installment ! Thankyou :)

really enjoyed this audio book
I brought this on a whim and I was glad that I did. I really enjoyed the story from start to finish. I was hoping the next one would be available as some truths come to light at the end and I really really wanna know what happens next. However it seems I have to wait til 2025 to get that so a bit gutted. Bare that in mind if you purchase hoping for a complete story line... whilst the book is amazing and I recommend it if your not one to wait around then maybe hold off.
It's not your typical Dragon book but i brought it based off the reviews. I love Reave and Kaan and hope that when this story ends it has some peace for them both what ever that may look like. You definitely get a strong FML with this book and she's definitely no push over consumed with blood lust for those that have wrong her. Kaan cam be an A hole but when he tells his story you see the love from a place of truth and he doesn't try and hold her back.

outstanding
This audiobook is incredible! the narrators couldn't be anymore perfect for the roles they're reading and have ripped My heart out chewed it up spit it out and put it back together multiple times... so much so that I had to take a break after chapter 74 I think when Khan is telling the world how much he loves Rave and how shattered his heart will be.. I was crying my eyes out for a solid 40 minutes.. the narrators create such intensity through the story and the story itself is spell binding.

Hard to listen at the beginning
This audiobook takes a look of concentration but the female voice actor is so off putting at the beginning. I replayed the first 10 chapters a few times and almost gave up, I am so glad I didn’t! The book itself is wonderful, a magnificent read/listen (once you get past her annoying voice that sounds like AI)
I cannot wait for book 2!

A promise of potential
I really liked this book. The world is interesting and feels unique, and the plot is nicely put together. My only wish is that the story would be presented in a way that the glossary/PDF would not be needed, as it "rips you out of the story" when you have to pause and look something up. I personally prefer a writing style a bit less "fluffy" but for those who do like it, I think this book in many ways will be a home run.

loved the storyline
I loved the story and the different voices. it made it all come to gether. but I wished it was a more graphic story tell, that would be totally sick!

Interesting world building but…
This one is a little confusing to me, as it had some good parts. That said, this book could have had the same plot, and been cut down to 10 hours instead of its 20+ hours. I like that there’s a pdf to refer to, however one of the big reveals at the end can be spoiled by reading it thoroughly, which takes away from the experience massively. I also guessed another major plot point early in the book, which meant I found myself rather bored while waiting for the reveal.
The world building feels unique, but I don’t feel it massively necessary for the plot itself, more like an interesting side note.
The main character also feels somewhat one dimensional (I must be alone because everyone close to me dies) which after a while makes her motives rather unbelievable. That said, there was a very moving moment that I actually believed the male narrators pain, and full on sobbed for a while.
There is a lot of potential here, it’s just got a bit of a messy execution. Will maybe check back with this author after a few years!
