An interesting and original story

Trying to work out who had killed who kept me glued to this book The first that I have ever read by this author and will be looking out for others by the same author. A gripping story suitable for a long drive. Recommend.

Another great read

I loved Mackie’s first crime novel and this second one is just as wonderfully written. I listened to it in a couple of days and really enjoyed the multiple perspectives. I hated basically everyone which is absolutely the point.

Fun listen

I’m actually going to relisten as think I may have missed elements of the story as the reveals were a bit underwhelming- and one of the characters voices was unbearable xo

Good fun

A light hearted but nonetheless absorbing and acerbic comedy about how the rich live and die.

A Good Story

I did enjoy this story. Some good twists and turns. A bit of a romp really. It’s difficult though as I didn’t really have any empathy for the characters until the end. Worth the listen though.

A modern twist on a classic whodunnit

Give it a go if you like crime novels but also enjoy things being mixed up a little. The interesting way the story is told from three perspectives does that. If you haven’t already also read/listen to ‘
‘How to kill your family’.
